Paraffin therapy is a very pleasant rejuvenating and toning procedure for the skin of the face, hands, and feet. This procedure is performed with the help of melted and heated to 55 degrees cosmetic paraffin. Paraffin therapy will be offered to you not only in the beauty salon but also in almost any beauty salon, now this procedure is very popular. It’s no secret that the age of a woman is very easy to determine by hand, and paraffin therapy has a very good rejuvenating effect.
This procedure has contraindications! In no case can you do paraffin therapy if there are lesions, cuts, abrasions, or some pustular inflammation on the skin. If there are no lesions and inflammations on the skin, paraffin baths will only benefit you. So, the first thing to do before the procedure is to wash your hands thoroughly with soap and apply a thin layer of any protective hand cream.
The cream must be applied in order not to get burned with hot paraffin, especially if you have very dry or irritated skin. If you do paraffin therapy in the salon, you will be offered to put your hands for a few seconds in a special electric bath, where the special cosmetic paraffin is already melted and heated to a temperature of 50-55 degrees. At home, paraffin must be heated in a water bath. For the procedure, you will need about two kilograms of cosmetic paraffin.
So, as soon as you get your hands out of the bath, the paraffin will solidify and form on your hands a kind of thin glove. Put your hands in the paraffin bath you need several times so that the “paraffin glove” is thick enough. After you have a sufficient layer of paraffin on your hands, you will first have to put on your hand’s wide polyethylene, and then cotton or terry mittens, to preserve heat and enhance the beneficial properties of warm paraffin. After 20-30 minutes you can easily remove the “paraffin glove” and admire your young and beautiful handles. To enhance the effect of paraffin therapy, it is good to apply a small amount of your favorite nutritious cream.
